Jam.dev is a tool that lets you quickly record your screen and automatically attach technical data from your browser (e.g. errors from the developer console). This gives us an exact picture of what is happening in your browser so we can find a solution faster.
Why does this help us resolve the issue quickly?
- It often turns out that everything works fine on our end, and the issue is caused by a specific setting in your environment (browser version, extensions, device type, etc.)
- We can see exactly what is happening in your browser and get specific error messages
- We can see the browser type and version, operating system, and other technical details
A recording is especially useful when:
- a page or feature freezes but works again after a refresh
- a button does not respond or behaves differently than expected
- the error only occurs in a specific project or task
- the problem is hard to describe in words – Jam.dev shows it all for you
If the issue happens directly in Freelo, there is no need to install Jam.dev or register. Just use our link to start recording.
The issue happens directly in Freelo
How do you record something that is happening directly in Freelo? Just use our prepared link, which lets you quickly record your screen and capture technical data from your browser at the same time.
This gives us an exact view of what is happening during the error so we can analyse the problem faster.
How to proceed
1. Open the prepared link
Click this link. Freelo will open with the option to start recording your screen.
2. Start recording
After opening the link:
- Start recording your screen (with voice – Screen + voice, or screen only – Screen only) via Start recording
- Select the browser window with Freelo open
- Perform the exact steps where the error occurs or where something is not working as expected
- Show the full sequence that leads to the issue
We recommend showing a few steps before the error itself so the full context is visible.
Example of a good recording: if you cannot add a comment to a task, start recording from the project overview. Then click on the task and show exactly where the problem occurs. The more context you provide, the faster we can find the cause.

3. Finish the recording
Click Submit recording to save the recording. You can also use Redo to record again for a better result.

Once the recording is complete, a link will be generated. Please send it to us via online chat or at info@freelo.io. The recording will automatically include a video of your screen, browser information, and technical data from Console and Network.
This helps us identify exactly what is causing the issue.
The issue happens in another app
Do you have Freelo connected to Outlook, Raynet, or a calendar, and the issue is occurring in that tool? In that case, you will need to register on Jam.dev to record your screen (our link will not work there).
1. Register on Jam.dev
First, you will need to create an account. Register here. You can use a work or personal email.
After entering your email, you will receive a verification code to log in. Note: the code is valid for 5 minutes only.

2. Install the browser extension
For Jam to work properly, you will need to install the browser extension. Without it, you cannot record errors or send technical data. After logging in, Jam will automatically prompt you to install the extension.
Once installed, you will find it under the strawberry icon.

Start recording from the extension using Record Tab.
3. Record the issue
Once you have an account and the extension installed:
- Open the page where the issue occurs
- Start recording your screen via the extension (with voice – Screen + voice, or screen only – Screen only)
- Perform the exact steps where the error occurs or where something is not working as expected
- Show the full sequence that leads to the issue
We recommend showing a few steps before the error itself so the full context is visible.
If you are recording an issue in Outlook or Raynet, we recommend choosing Screen + voice and saying out loud what is happening and what you would expect instead. Technical data from Console is captured automatically – your commentary helps us understand the context.
4. Create and share the link
After finishing the recording, click Create and Copy. The link will be automatically copied to your clipboard – send it to us via online chat or at info@freelo.io.
If you do everything in the browser where Jam.dev is installed, the link will also contain technical error information.
Important note
⚠️ Please do not enter sensitive data during recording, such as:
- Passwords
- Login credentials
- Personal or sensitive data
Only record the steps that lead to the error.
