Freelo has a new look. A cleaner design, a more organized layout, dark mode, and plenty of other improvements to make your daily work more enjoyable.

Until now, you've only encountered the side panel in Kanban. In all other view types, you had to click through to the task details and back again, or know the shortcut " ”Q".
In the new Freelo, the side panel opens in all views. You can adjust its width so that it can accommodate a panel with links and custom fields. Check off a task and move on without getting lost in your to-do list.
Try the side panelYou can now collapseto-do lists in a project into a folder. Instead of an endless list, you'll see a structured view and can expand only what you're currently working on.
Plus, by dragging with your mouse, you can turn a task into a subtask—and vice versa. No need to delete and recreate anything. You can rearrange tasks within a project however you need.
Try drag-and-dropSubtasks no longer appear in yellow on the Dashboard. You can now identify them by their icons, which make the table look cleaner and help you find what you're looking for more quickly.
The column with saved filters has also been updated— you can reorder the filters by dragging them with the mouse, just like in the task list (drag-and-drop). Put your most frequently used filter first so you don't have to search for it in the list.

You won't find some of the icons—they look different now. Here's a list of them:
At the end of September, every Freelo user will find a toggle in their profile menu. Be among the first to experience the new look!
You can turn off the new design at any time using the same method you used to turn it on. You won't lose any data. However, please note that new registrations starting September 30 will automatically use the new design and will not have the option to switch back to the original one.
Make the switch before your new coworker starts. Retraining is such a pain.

We've compiled a list of the questions we get asked most often about the new look.
You don't have to—the decision is up to you. You can turn the toggle on yourself whenever it suits you, and turn it off again whenever you like. Just keep in mind that we'll all be gradually transitioning to the new look, so sooner or later we'll all be using it.
You won't miss a thing. Projects, tasks, comments, tags, saved filters, and settings will all remain exactly where they are. Only the appearance changes —not the controls or the content of your Freelo. Switching over is purely a visual change; no data migration is required.
Go back. Open the profile menu, turn off the”New Freelo Version” toggle, and you’ll immediately return to the original look. You can switch back and forth as often as you need. And most importantly, let us know what didn’t work for you—you’ll find a feedback button for that in the user menu.
The toggle is personal, so everyone turns it on for themselves. You can work in the new view, while your colleague at the next desk works in the original one, and this won't affect your work on shared projects and tasks in any way. You're still working with the same data—you just see it differently.
Yes, once you enable the new look, you'll see it everywhere—on your computer and on your phone. App overview: Freelo is everywhere.
Prices and rates remain unchanged with the new design. You'll get the new Freelo design as part of your existing plan, and there's no extra charge.
Not yet. You can drag and drop to turn a task into a subtask and vice versa, but moving a task to or from a checklist doesn't work. This is because a checklist doesn't contain all the information that a task or subtask contains, and you would lose that information when moving it. We're working on it.
In the user menu, you'll find a feedback button. Let us know what isn't working or what you would do differently. Our team reads these messages, and based on your feedback, we've already made quite a few improvements. You can also contact us via regular chat; we'll respond within 24 hours.
