Information on illegal content

We are Freelo Bay s.r.o., ID No. 074 46 144, with registered office at Jahnova 8, Zelené Předměstí, Pardubice, 530 02, we are registered at the Regional Court in Hradec Kralove, Section C, Insert 42420 and we operate the Freelo service.

You can communicate with us about the DSA (and reporting harmful content) using this form. Your submission will be taken up by our internal team who will deal with it without delay.

In our Freelo platform, we give space for captaining teams and projects. It may happen that users upload objectionable content while using the platform.

Under EU Regulation 2022/2065, on digital services ( ”DSA” ), we are not directly responsible for content posted or uploaded to our platform by third parties. However, we are obliged (among other things) to establish a mechanism for reporting illegal content on our platform and to put in place conditions to regulate such content.

The Czech Telecommunications Office supervises our compliance with our obligations in this area.

1. What content can you report to us?

Freelo does not include content that is illegal, in violation of the law, these or our terms and conditions. You can report such content to us using this form.

2. How will we deal with illegal content and your notification?

If a user or anyone else uploads or posts content to Freelo that:

• is contrary to the law;
• is contrary to good manners;
• is vulgar;
• Promotes violence, discrimination or hateful content;
• spreading misinformation, unsubstantiated information or deepfakes;
• would unjustifiably threaten or harm a third party (both natural and legal);
• infringes the rights of third parties (typically copyright, personality or other rights);
• violates a statutory duty of confidentiality or a third party's trade secret;

we may, at our discretion, suspend or delete the content depending on the severity of the content displayed, or we may also suspend or delete the user account if the user violates the regulations, these or our terms and conditions repeatedly or particularly seriously. In this case, we will send all affected users a clear and specific justification for such action.

We evaluate the reported content promptly, individually, non-automated, with human review.

If you provide us with your electronic contact information (email) in your notification, we will send you an acknowledgement that we have received your notification without undue delay.

We will then let you know the resolution of the situation and provide you with information on the remedies available in relation to this decision using the contact details you have provided.

3. Abuse of reporting illegal content

Please understand that the ability to report content is not intended to ”bully” Freelo users or to resolve private disputes. Freelo is not intended to substitute for any ”function as a private arbitrator”.

If you misuse our reporting system, we may suspend your ability to use it with prior notice. In making such decisions, we will take into account the number of items of apparently unlawful reported content or apparently unsubstantiated reports or complaints made in a particular period, their proportion in relation to the total number of information or reports, the intent, the seriousness of the misuse, the nature of the unlawful content and the consequences of such misuse.

We would also like to point out that we have no obligation to monitor or control the content in any preventive manner. Thank you for your understanding.
