Start the stopwatch where you work - on a specific task in Freelo. The hours will reflect themselves in the project report, invoice base and team capacity overview. No copying from Excel, no extra time tracking tool.
Time tracking is the measurement of the amount of time a team spends on a specific job - a task, project or client order. In Freelo, you start stopwatch right next to the task you're working on. Once stopped, the hours worked are entered into the project report and the same data is used to create the basis for the invoice and margin report.
Time is short. So don't waste it and write me right now. I'll advise you on how to report.

You charge clients by the hour and need an accurate overview of how many hours went into which job. Right in the task you have a stopwatch that remembers the rate for each person and project separately. One export of the reports makes a great invoice base.
You monitor project budgets and people workload. In the reports you can see how many hours the team has worked, who has spare capacity and who is drowning. You can set rates for multiple projects at once in the Business plan. You manage margin on an ongoing basis, not by deadline.
You need to see where the money is going in the company and where the company is making money. In reports, you can track costs by project, client and people - from a single job to the firm's overall margin. You make decisions based on numbers, not feelings.
Open the task, click the arrow and run the report. Or use the keyboard shortcut ALT+Shift+S. If you forget the stopwatch, you can fill in the time manually - Freelo can handle 2:20, 0830 or 2.5 formats. When you start measuring another task, the previous report will save itself.
Try Freelo for freeThe project captain sees an overview of hours by people, tasks and projects. You can filter the report by period, project, author and currency and export to CSV. Use the same spreadsheet to support client invoices and accountant payroll. One export, two uses.
Try Freelo for freeYou set the hourly rate for users for specific projects and Freelo remembers it for future reports. The summary of the reports forms the basis for invoicing, where the client can see exactly how many hours were spent on which task and for what amount. You invoice based on reality, not an estimate.
Arrange a consultation on ratesIn the Business plan, you adjust the rate across multiple projects at once, instead of adjusting each one separately. You can lock other members' timesheets so they don't override their own. The captain, company captain, and project manager can see everyone's timesheets. Members choose which of their colleagues can see their time.
Find out more about ratesYou may have come across Toggl and Clockify - separate stopwatches. Freelo is a project tool where you have a stopwatch right at the task - where the team plans, communicates and hands off work. No copying data between tools, no paying for another tool.

Having a stopwatch on the side is like having an anchor in the next boat. It's there, but it won't stop you in time.

You create a project, tasks in it. For each task you set a solver and a deadline. That's all you need to get started.
Open the task and click on the arrow in the top bar. When you are done with the task, stop the timer by clicking on the STOP square.
The project manager can see how many hours the team has already spent on the task, who is free and who is overloaded. Margins and budgets are updated in real time.
At the end of the month, you filter the reports by client, export the billing base and invoice based on reality, not an estimate.

From the report overview, filter by period, project or currency and export the CSV. The spreadsheet includes tasks, hours, rates and total amount - send it to the client as an attachment to the invoice so they know exactly what they're paying for. Issue the invoice itself in your billing tool or consult with our crew.
You can manually complete the historical reports for the respective tasks. For bulk import, email our support crew - we will advise how to convert the data so you don't have to manually overwrite the hours.
